Lunch and Learn A joint project of SSTT-E and Congregation Shaarei Tikvah. Dialogue With The Rabbi Do you have questions? Doubts? Are you hedging your bets about God's existence, questioning the efficacy or meaning of prayer, unsure about the meaning of Judaism in your own life? A Taste of Judaism With Rabbi Stephen Klein This three session class is being offered for those who would like to explore Judaism's relevance in today's world through an understanding of our perspective on spirituality, values and community. The course is designed for "beginners"... for all who are interested in learning more about Judaism, whether they are Jewish or not...for those who would like to explore or re-explore the foundations of Jewish tradition...and for those who may be searching for an entree into Jewish life. Hebrew In 5: Learn to read Hebrew in 5 weeks! It's become an annual tradition at SSTT-E: a chance for non-Hebrew readers to master the Alef Bet in only 5 weeks. Please Stop the Rollercoaster How Parents of Jewish Teenagers Can Smooth Out the Ride Raising teenagers today is a challenge for many parents. Time pressures alone prevent many from having the support networks enjoyed in generations past. This four session workshop, led by a professional facilitator, will combine course reading and group discussion to help our parents gain confidence, knowledge and connections.
