Leadership:
Lay Leadership - Committees
2007-2008
The
following is a list of committees and programs offered by Scarsdale Synagogue Temples Tremont and Emanu-El. All Temple members are welcome to join any of
these committees and participate in them. Please call the contact person
listed below for further details.
In addition to these standing committees and affiliates, there are ad-hoc
committees which are established as the need or desire arises. In the
past, we have had a Drama Committee which oversaw a full-scale drama
production performed by the members of our Congregation, and a Soviet
Jewry Committee which helped to bring over “two Soviet families”.
Currently, our Synagogue 2000 team, our Worship Initiative, and our Long
Range Planning Committee, are all busy at work, trying to ensure that we
are as responsive to the needs of our members as possible, as we continue
to make our congregation all that it might truly be. There are some
wonderfully exciting
elements of change in the air, and they all come about as a result of the
hard work of our various committees.

our temple family who can be called upon to lend a hand to members
in times of need.
